Education - tomorrow

The future of education ...

Education must change because it's an old system. Basically, our current system is a square trying to fit into a circle. Today's kids are vastly different from those only 20 years ago. Or, at least what we know about how kids learn has changed from 20 years ago. I will expand this thought, but education can be analogous to General Motors in 1989. In need of fixing (i.e. change) but enjoying the status quo. Everyone has to work together to save our industry. Change of die.

Any bold ideas that will survive the external forces?

The external forces definitely don't help the educational cause. Doing the best possible for students given all factors is difficult to do, and not always the most popular way to go. Everything contributes, and everyone must.
