Deep Planning ??? On the fly ...

Right now, school are in the midst of what the state expects to be "deep" planning for State and Federal programming for next year. Indeed, we're working on creating an in depth plan; however, three (or more) problems exist:

1. We do not know our allocation for next year
2. We do not know the amount of stimulus money we will receive
3. A possible cut: categoricals, e.g. At Risk funds

We're working together to determine best programming for children. We operate on the idea that "first best" instruction is concern number one, and must be a focus. Then, the so–called pyramid of interventions comes in to play.

It's time to plan deep ... but do it while you're moving ...
