Assessment First

I continue to read and learn a great deal about creating a curriculum by first designing the assessment. Doesn't that make sense?

If you know what the kids need to learn (e.g., the assessment), you can determine what they need to learn (e.g. the lessons or curriculum). Once a teacher knows the first what, the second what is easier to determine.

fWhat + yWhat = Achievement
