California Angels ???

It must be baseball season because I've been writing about it lately.

The Tigers are playing the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Or maybe they're just the Los Angeles Angels. I remember as a youngster thinking the California Angels were a "cool" team. They had Reggie Jackson, Rod Carew, and Don Baylor. All three of them wore a no ear flap helmet, which I always thought was cool. The Angels were my "second" favorite team behind the Tigers. It seems like the 1982 Angels were a good team, but they lost to the Brewers in the playoffs.

My fifth grade class at Kingsley Elementary School went to Greenfield Village and a Tigers game in May. We watched the Tigers play the Angels. Tim Foli, not known for his power) hit the only home run of the game. It was a great field trip!

It's great to see the Tigers playing well so far. Keep it up!!!
