Garcia, don't listen to that man!

I'm hoping that at this time next week — after the Tigers finish their post–season meetings — the Tigers announce that they will be replacing Chuck Hernandez as pitching coach. Other possibilities for firing would include Mr. Moody, er ... Andy VanSlyke and the big boy, Gene Lamont. The Tigers will need to make some changes. If they don't get rid of Hernandez, then I may not watch much next year ... because the pitching will probably be worse.

You know, I wasn't a big fan of Bobby Cluck but I'm starting to think he may have had more residual value to the 2006 Tigers than any of the coaches who departed along with Alan Trammell when Mr. Leyland joined the organization. He developed the younger pitchers and could have impacted the '06 crew.

What do you think?
