Steve Carter and a ball player

World famous assistant trainer extraordinaire Steve Carter talks to one of the American League's most promising young players, Curtis Granderson, prior to Tuesday night's game against the Royals de la Kansas City.

Looks like my exclamation that the Tigers would not win another game was dead off. The Tigers "upset" the American League East leading Rays yesterday behind the powerful pitching of ... Armando Galarraga. Wouldn't the Rangers have loved to keep him on their squad! (Actually, everyone rails the Tigers for trading Jair Jurgens; however, Galarraga has a better overall record than Jair ... and Jair is four years younger ... )

If you get a chance, click on the picture of Curtis and Steve and check out my pictures on Flickr from the other night's game and our short stop at the site formerly known as Tiger Stadium.

Cheers!
