How Quickly a Year Goes ...

It's hard to believe that a year has gone by already. One year ago, I made several trips to Detroit at this time, gearing up to be a volunteer at FanFest, the Major League Baseball sideshow during the All-Star Game festivities in Detroit. Volunteering at the event was great fun. I thought for sure that somehow I would score tickets to the homerun contest or the game, but to no avail. I guess that will have to happen the next time the All-Star game is in Detroit.

It's in Pittsburgh this season and the Tigers will be sending three representatives. They'll send four reps is you help by voting for Justin Verlander at mlb.com.
