Plan | Prepare | Execute

A failure to plan is planning to fail. I think I read that someplace because I couldn't come up with that on my own. As we get ready to roll into a new school year, I hope that we have planned well so we don't fall on our face.

Preparation is such a key to success. We prepare kids in many different ways: whether it's in the classroom for scholastic success, on the sports field for athletic success, or in any other setting where we're training or teaching. Preparing is teaching.

Execution comes when it's time to get something done.

Plan. Prepare. Execute.

My mantra for this year. Last year it was do the right things for the right reasons.

This year I will preach plan | prepare | execute. I think that's the key to success.
