Standards and Beliefs

How close do you stick to your standards?


Would you hire someone dressed like Spider–man to teach in your school? 

If you believe that if "X" happens, then you should do "Y," when do you not stick with that belief?

If you have expectations and someone doesn't meet those — but you want to support someone else in the process — what do you do?

As a leader I have certain beliefs and expectations about the process of hiring new employees. It's a process that has developed over time. I've encountered colleagues who interview differently, or not really at all. I've seen administrators decide who they were hiring before the process started, etc. I guess everyone has a different approach.

But I think the interviewee has certain expectations.
