The 20th

A few years back, I realized that when it's the 20th of any month, it might as well be the next month. Generally, there are two more week–ends after the 20th, so the number of work days is slim, maybe five. Maybe seven. But it seems like the 20th is practically the next month.

If someone says, "Let's meet next week," and it's the 20th, you are probably looking at the next month.

This year is a unique year for the 20th, considering that February has 29 days. There's only one week–end after the 20th is February, but we get a bonus day.
