Findlay Prep is like any other basketball factory....deep pockets booster....paying the way for these college athletes to get more looks from big time college schools...i imagine that both coach peck and coach simons are great guys, however, they too are looking to climb the ladder of success...and this is probably a very quick and beneficial way to do it. can you imagine coaching dI prospects year in and year out....besides, other than when they travel all over, who can they play out in the desert....i see they played here in michigan at fowler i think....get real....have your buddies play a game at your school central montcalm....can you say BLOWOUT......findley is a means to an ends for all those involved. from the kids who must not have much of a home life or supporting family, so they go here to play basketball and move away from their real families to the coaches who i bet are looking to latch on to a mid major DI or even a powerful DII coaching jobs...to mr findley, an ex unlv rebel himself, who misses the lime light, wants to still be a part of the team and enjoy in the comraderie in the lockerroom...
this is not high school sports...this is not what the individuals who created high school athletics would have wanted...then again...neither is traveling to hesperia, holton, and whitecloud for LEAGUE matchups....
