Transparent Managing
Jim Leyland is already telling reporters of some "insider" items this spring. For example, he told them if the coaches notice anything amiss with any pitchers, they will pull them from rotation schedules and work with them for a day or two. He's made some other comments, too. Last year, he kept informing the media of "this" or "that." While on one hand I like it, on the other ... it gets old when things change back quickly or after one game. So, does transparent management work in professional sports?
