Fachú

Ever since they were in elementary school, Amber and Court have had chores. Usually, they would take care of the laundry or dishes. It always seemed to be Court who would do the dishes and Amber who would take care of the laundry.

Recently, one of Amber's friends was over and Amber had chores to finish.

"I'll be right back," Amber said. "I have to go fachú the laundry."

"You have to do what?" her friend responded.

"Fachú," she replied.

"What is that?"

"You know, when you take the laundry out of the dryer. It's called fachúing."

"No, it's not. It's folding."

"I think it's called fachúing," she said. But she wasn't so sure anymore.

A couple of days later, she said she had a question.

"Did you make up the work fachú?"

I replied, "Yeah, it's the sound a towel makes when you snap it ... fachú!"

"THANKS A LOT!" she said ...
