Did you hear?
We're in an economic downturn in the United States. Michigan staple General Motors teeters on the brink of bankruptcy. Ford balances not far behind. What's great in our country, though, is that you can see the President of the United States sworn in in January for FREE. Yes, tickets to the inauguration are free.
Except that they're not.
Tickets on brokerage sites are starting out at about $10,000. If you want to actually have a view of Obama, you'll have to pony up $20,377.
Now, I realize that GM and Ford (and probably Chrysler) cars aren't selling right now, and I'll be the first to admit that with the exorbinate prices they charge for new cars, they should never sell any ... but $20,000 to see the President sworn in ...
Now that's outrageous!
