Ken Pool is making good money. On weekdays, he shows up at 7 a.m. at Ford Motor Co.'s Michigan Truck Plant in Wayne, signs in, and then starts working -- on a crossword puzzle. Pool hates the monotony, but the pay is good: more than $31 an hour, plus benefits.
"We just go in and play crossword puzzles, watch videos that someone brings in or read the newspaper," he says. "Otherwise, I've just sat."

I've been saying for years now that the Union is going to be the death of the auto industry in the U.S. I guess I was right.
i second it.....get off your butts and go get a job....sitting around all day doing nothing...lazy good for nothing auto industry employees.....no wonder the u.s. sucks so bad...lazy workers, what have you done for me lately attitudes....those guys in the coffee shops should be ashamed to say they are war veterans.....
