Sounds like ... Looks like ... Walks like ...
I just heard the findings in Troopergate and Governor Palin apparently "abused her power." That means she is definitely ready to lead in Washington, D.C. — at the very least she is qualified to be a CEO at one of America's struggling companies. One of my favorite sayings is "Power corrupts. And absolute power corrupts absolutely."
Or something to that effect. I believe it is mentioned in the excellent short novel Animal Farm by George Orwell but is ultimately connected with John Dalberg-Acton, 1st Baron Acton. Does anyone else feel like George Orwell may have visited the future and returned to the '40s to write a few novels to attempt to "scare us" into doing the right thing(s)? Animal Farm is about the Soviet Union, e.g. a Totalitarianism. Totalitarianism is basically a concept used to describe political systems where a state regulates nearly every aspect of public and private life.
Anyway, this is not where I was heading with this post ... It originally intended to be funny based on what I've been listening to on the news this morning. I wanted to say that the way you should decide to vote is based on something simple ...
McCain sounds like cocaine ... so you shouldn't vote that way.
Palin sounds like failin' ... so, again ...
Biden sounds like hidin' ... you get the idea ... but hidin' is better than failin' or cocainin', so that leads to ...
Obama sounds like ...
Never mind, I guess that's not the way for you to decide who to vote for. But, again, McCain and his crew gave up on Michigan and headed out west (or at least someplace he considers "more important" to his electoral college).
Only a couple weeks left to make up your mind ...
When they all have skeletons in their closets ...
When they all have wockets in their pockets ...
DECISION 2008.
