Sunday in Detroit Tiger land ...
The Tigers jumped out to a 6–0 lead today. The first five hitters reached base. Now, it the bottom of the 7th and the Tigers have given up their lead. A Carlos Guillen error with two outs started the rally. I'm not upset that the Tigers gave up the lead ... that's not the issue. The issue I have is that the Tigers hitters totally changed their approach after the first inning. Several batters made easy outs on the first pitch. It was like they just wanted to get on the plane and head home. I believe that JL once said, and I paraphrase, "This has gone on here before ... it's not gonna go on anymore!" That was back in '06. It's the top of the 8th, the Tigers trail ... let's see what happens.
