Where's the heat?

Wow, folks, the offense has been TERRIBLE, the starting pitching EVEN WORSE, and the bullpen HORRENDOUS. So far, the best team money can buy is not living up to expectations by any means. No, I'm not talking about the Yankees, folks, I'm talking about our beloved Detroit Tigers.

Beyond Brandon Inge (The Amazing INGE!), the offense has been nonexistent. Wow, I'm glad he's hitting for the Tigers and not the Giants of Dodgers. Do we miss Curtis Granderson? Do we miss Gary Sheffield? Sure, we miss both of them, but what we're really missing is the ability to be patient at the plate.

Beyond the pitching mound, things have not gone as expected from the rubber, either. Sure, we miss Fernando (The Human Rain Delay) and Joel Zumaya, but come on ... these guys are major leaguers.

It'll turn around, but will it turn around soon enough? Things are somewhat ugly? Okay, things are really ugly. I suppose the chemistry will have to work itself out. In retrospect, it took the Tigers in 1984 40 games to lose five games. I think they're going to be at five losses in five games this year.

Ouch.

the best team money can buy...hahahahahaha...that is hilarious...the tigers stink...so many thing..so so many things went their way the past two years, that is baseball..a grounder with eyes, a texas leaguer...a slow roller....and now those things are not going their way.....boo hoo....that is why the tigers, like many other teams, are 1 or 2 hit wonders, 1 or 2 years where they compete and then they are done..it takes a true team, a 1st class organization to compete year in and year out...
