Down to G.R. to see "No Show Coe"

Friday night, Huck, Mark, Steve, and I ventured into the lousy ice/snow/rain weather and made the two–plus hour drive to Grand Rapids for the David Allan Coe concert at the Intersection. Having heard the weather may get bad, I checked the Intersection's Web site just before leaving, and there was no word that the show would be postponed on canceled due to weather.

We arrived, paid $8 to park, and walked a block to the show. Actually, Huck ran up ahead of us (it was cold and snowy) and was walking back by the time we headed up the sidewalk.

"Turn around," he yelled. "Show's canceled." I figured he was just joking.

He wasn't:

No reschedule date has been announced.
