Daylight Savings Time (Or Springing Ahead)

Daylight Savings Time, that uncanny shift in time conceived by Benjamin Franklin, begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 9. Apparently, DST was created to add an extra hour to our sunny summer days and nights. The goal is to preserve daylight.

Daylight Savings Time affects people differently. Some have no problem adjusting, others go through a week or two of transition.

Anyway, remember to "spring ahead" when you go to bed tonight. It's that time of year again.
