Oh E Oh, Oh No, Magglio

Apparently Jose Canseco has attempted to extort some money from Tiger slugger Magglio Ordonez. Canseco and Ordonez were teammates on the Chicago White Sox at one point, and Canseco claims that Ordonez has used steroids.

I do not doubt that he may have tried steroids. At one point, he did have a spike in home run power — he's normally been a good hitter, but one year he had excessive power. Ordonez may have experimented with other "alternative" healing solutions, especially when he visited Austria in 2005.

He was injured for about three seasons and nothing seemed to work.

Is Ordonez still using steroids? I don't think so. You can read the following comment from some guy on a Fox Sports Web site. He vindicates the whole Tiger team. I guess he doesn't know that really steroiders like Rondell White, Nook Logan, and Alex Sanchez have already left the arena ...

Someone named Willie Tasbey wrote the following after reading Tracy Ringolsby's Fox Sports article today in a Fox Sports comment section:

The Detroit Tigers have roster full of high priced cheaters. Magglio is guilty. Why didn't he sue Canseco? Canseco is the only guy telling the truth. Check out the size of Ordonez's head. He missed a whole season for mysterious reasons, and refused to be treated by a doctor in the U.S. There are hundreds more like Ordonez out there, cheaters who did not show up in the Mitchell report. Remember there is no detection for HGH. Bud Selig keeps telling us that he has gotten rid of PEDs in baseball. I say hogwash. The Tigers are rich in PED users. They have Gary Sheffield batting clean up. Zumaya suddenly is throwing 102 when he only threw in the low 80s when drafted? Pudge is behind the plate. Oft injured Carlos Guillen has suddenly bulked up to the point where he can no longer play short stop. Check out the dome of Placido Polanco. There is another guy who suddenly is a star after being a handyman in Philly. Bonderman is oft injured with a good sized dome. Another domer is Nate Robertson. Yeah, the Mitchell report needs to visit the Tigers training room.
