(1) Am I the only person who thinks it's weird and inconvenient that most branches of the United States Post Office are closed during the noon hour — the time when most of us could buy a stamp? Wouldn't it make more sense for the post office to be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.? Those hours would work for most people, don't you think?
(2) It was a terrible move for Arby's to get rid of the American Fries or whatever they were called. Now, the only fry you can buy at Arby's is the curly fry, which is lousy. I first discovered this in June and haven't really been to Arby's since! What a bad decision!
(3) How come I cannot find a bottle or can (empty is fine) of Pepsi Light? You remember the lemon–flavored diet Pepsi from the late–70s? I've been looking since about the early 1990s and I still haven't found an empty or full bottle or can of the stuff. I used to argue with friends that it really ever existed.
It really did.
(4) That reminds me of a time in the early 1990s when I was in Grand Rapids with an ex–girlfriend and another couple. I don't even remember why we were there, but it was the end of the summer and some festival was happening. Crystal Pepsi was new and a Pepsi truck was filled with the stuff and they were giving out sample cups. I asked if we could just have a full two–liter and the dealer said that would be no problem. A few sips later and it was clear why they were giving the stuff away ... YUCK!!!
(5) I don't know how many of you read a lot of blogs, but it's always a bummer when a blogger has one GREAT post and you subscribe via RSS and find out that really, the blogger had one great post in him/her. Know what I mean?

I had Pepsi Light and Coke Light in Cancun. It was just really, really diet cola. I couldn't wait to get back home for normal pop.
