Snow, ice, fog, just lousy weather day

Friday night, the weather was okay, but you could feel it changing. On Saturday, it started to get bad and then got really bad. Wind, snow, ice, and all that started falling. By midnight it was better. Sunday, though, started nice. By mid–afternoon, it was getting foggy and rainy. Later, it was really foggy and funny rainy. Late Sunday night, it was cold (ice?) and windy and foggy. I was thinking "no school for kids."

I awoke at 5 a.m. and turned on the TV. Nope, we must be in session. Went to sleep for a few more minutes, woke up just before the alarm, and took a shower. Voice mail! (BEEP!) Voice mail! Oh, we must have a delay, I thought, as I checked the message ...

So, for the first school day scheduled for December, we do not have school. I'll be heading in in a little while, but for the children, they get a bonus three–day week–end. Happy Monday, kids!
