Time Slips Away and Leaves You With Nothing, Mister ...

This post will be a hodge–podge of thoughts and jots from Rick's world.

Bruce Springsteen released a new album, and for the first time since I can remember, I didn't buy it and have no intention of getting it. It seems that Bruce has gotten too big for even himself.

On the other hand, Kid Rock's new album is great. There isn't a week track on the set. Plus, the bonus versions on the various releases are all pretty good.

The Colorado Rockies getting into the World Series could end up being one of the greatest runs EVER to end a season. They weren't even really considered a contender with two weeks left in the season. Winning 14 in a row will do crazy things for you ...

The "title" of this post, of course, refers to Bruce's 1984 HUGE HIT "Glory Days." What a great song about a guy who, at one point, could throw that speedball by you. And make you look like a fool.

A murder-suicide that affects the place where you work certainly has a way of putting life in perspective, doesn't it?

Thanks for tuning in ...
