Bonderman Shaved His Head! He's Back!

The game was won by Curtis Granderson's outstanding catch in the bottom of the eighth inning with two Indians on the basepaths. This guy impresses me more and more every single day. I shouted, "MVP" when he made the catch. That may be hyperbole, but where would the Tigers really be without him? Wonderful ballplayer!

Of course, Magglio (Oh E Oh! Magglio!) put an exclamation point (!) on the game with his long, long homerun. Do you think he knew it was "long gone!" Sheff, of course, did drive in the go–ahead run, so we cannot discount his influence.

That guy starting ... I'll tell you why he did so well. He gave up on growing his brown hair and sideburns. He looked ridiculous trying to grow hair ... it just didn't work. The clean–shaven look fits Jeremy Bonderman so much better. With the less weight, he didn't have as much friction and was able to pitch well. (Okay, you caught me, I did make the friction part up, but I'm right about the shaved head!)

Good luck to the rookie tonight! Jair Jurrjens, good luck! You're no showcase camera!!!

We met a guy Thursday night that looked so much like Jeremy Bonderman! He even had a Detroit Tiger Hat on! I had to ask him if other people think he looks like Bonderman...he said all the time! He was so cool.
