Uninspiring Baseball
After Tuesday Night's "Flash to the Past" style victory, Wednesday was quite the let down. Curtis Granderson had one of the highlights with his 19th triple. He may end up with 25 triples. I think that's more impressive that 50 homeruns.
In reality, Jair Jurrjens actually pitched a pretty good game for a Major League Debut. The Tigers seem to have an endless supply of arms, which is a great thing. As I watch Jurrjens pitch well, and Tata pitch well for the most part, I start to think about the future. Heck, they're comparing Rick Porcello to Boston chucker Josh Beckett, who was pitching for the Fish at 20. The Tigers are thinking quick rise through the system.
So, again, thinking about the future, there are going to have to be some subtractions because there are only 25 spots on the roster. I believe there are some Tigers who are not going anywhere, but there are others who are probably not going to be back in '08. Without further adieu, I present a Tigers '08 discussion:
Back in Black, Heart Attack:

Time for me to Fly:

Depending on the alternative:

The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades:
The What Ifs—OF Cameron Maybin, SP Rick Porcello, SP Jordan Tata, SP Jair Jurrjens, Etc.
Let the debate begin!!!
