This only proves the point that we need to stop teaching children the way that WE were taught and start teaching them the way THEY NEED to be taught. Think about it...we ask them to sit basically all day long and do paper pencil activities when we ourselves can't even sit that long and do those same tasks. We are truly doing a disservice to todays learners. If you think you can sit that long yourself, take a class that you are forced to take and see just how long your body and mind stay on task...2 minutes?
