Thinking Outside the Box

We have been talking for years about "thinking outside the box."

When do we get to the point where "thinking outside the box" actually gets us back into the original box that we thought we had to think outside of?

This is not to say that it is not important to think differently, because it that type of thinking helps to facilitate growth. And, as we evolve, certain things work better (in the short run, in the long run, etc.). Eventually, we may end up back where we started, but the journey we took to get back there is necessary, important, and useful.

It truly is the journey, not the destination, that makes education fun. Yes, we have missions, visions, goals, and places we know we have to be (i.e. mandates), but watching children grow and develop and learn to think on their own is so rewarding.

Cheers.

I watched 2 children grown and prosper and what a thrill! I am so proud of those kids. I am also very proud of the children that one of my children has been a big part of their lives and it shows! Yes I am proud!

Also in regards to the "golden and green" people I know good luck, you are making a big difference in many lives! Way to go!
