The Mountain Country Music Festival

You've heard about the Bad Behavior Tour. It was supposed to kick of June 14 in Detroit and run for a week or ten days. Then, crazy things started to happen with cool events right here in Michigan. We found out that Shooter Jennings and the .357s were going to be playing at the Michigan International Speedway on race day. We still don't know if they're just doing the National Anthem or if they're doing a show. Then, we found out they would be coming to -- get this -- Farwell, Michigan, on Saturday, June 23. That's the same night that the original country outlaw David Allan Coe will be playing in Midland, Michigan.

The Mountain Country Music Festival is taking place in Farwell at the old Mott Mountain Ski Resort from June 21-24. It should be a crazy event. The acts who are lined up sound pretty good. Saturday especially looks like a good day.

The event is a great idea. I hope the people putting it together can pull it off.
