Wow, did you see that Alexis Gomez had a huge night last night?

Everyone questioned him playing over Marcus Thames. Jim Leyland, in his pre-game interviews, said that he might just "power one" or something to that effect. And, he did. He hit a big home run and knocked in four total runs. And Neifi Perez didn't do anything to hurt the team at short stop and (in a preview of next year?) Carlos Guillen played a solid first base. That second baseman, whoa!
