Happy Go-Lucky Blues Band

Happy Go-Lucky Blues Ban
Originally uploaded by Rick Rock Radio.
Saturday night at Missy's Brickyard in Stanton, Mich., the Happy Go-Lucky Blues Band played a few sets. Their music ranges from the blues to rock 'n' roll, with a few original songs thrown in the mix. They're a local band, mosly from Ionia and Sheridan (and a few other locales in between).

This is the band that performed at Sheridan Elementary School in March to culminate our March is Reading Month. The theme: Reading Rocks. At the Sheridan Elementary show, they changed a number of songs so the lyrics represented reading themes. It was pretty cool.

If you get a chance to check them out, you should!

Good job, HGLBB!

Thanks for the great review Rick! We all had THE BEST time playing for the crew that showed up--especially the Sheridan staff (The Sisters of Perpetual Motion really know how to kick it up!). Keep Oct. 14th free--it sounds like we'll be back there and playin' till 1 a.m. instead of midnight! Workin' on "new stuff" too...so any requests? Let us know!
