Alice Cooper Throws Out the First Pitch
What a surprise! The announcer shouted, "Please welcome Alice Cooper!" The crazy rocker, originally from Detroit threw a pitch, talked with Andy VanSlyke, then met with the managers and umpires at the plate.
He played a concert tonight in Detroit, as well.
The game wasn't all that great ... unless you're a Jon Garland fan. The White Sox won the game 10-0, scoring all the runs they would need on a first inning solo home run by Jermaine Dye. Nate Robertson got pounded hard today, but his ERA only rose to 4.10.
The game was delayed an hour before the start ... that must have been the reason the team played poorly. Either that or it was because today was get-away day ...
Go get 'em in Cleveland!!!
