Welcome Back, DY

Tiger DH/1B Dmitri Young has returned to the line-up. He is recovering from his addictions and working to change his life. He was talkative on Sunday and in good spirits. He's hitting the ball well thus far, including a home run in the fifth inning of tonight's game against the Indians.

If Young can slug with any authority down the stretch, he might eliminate the need to make a trade for a lefthanded bat, considering DY is a switch hitter. Let's hope he does OK, because he is a good ballplayer, when he's playing hard.

He told the media that he just wants to contribute to the team. If that's what he means, honestly, then that will be a positive for the club.
