Bring on F-Rod

Huge two-out single by Alexis Gomez to put the Tigers up 2-1. Pudge is batting right now and Fernando Rodney is looking on, ready to shut down the Angels in the top of the ninth. What an awesome, key, two-out hit for the Tigers utility man. Kind of like how Rusty Kuntz used to come through in the clutch in "that one year."

The ability to compete with the elite teams is important ... especially in one-run contests.
