Nostalgia (Or Something Like It)

I just read Jim Hawkins' blog — today he talked about time flying. He's covered 40 Opening Day baseball games. Heck, I haven't even been alive for 40 years — yet. But, I know what he means.

I commented on his blog entry and mentioned my Grandpa Morgan. The blog post made me think about my young days, as an amateur Tiger fan. Watching the game on Channel 4 in Clarkston, Mich., with George Kell and Al Kaline on the screen but Ernie Harwell and Paul Carey on the radio. Yeah, that's how it was back then. And, games weren't on often. It seems like maybe 20 games were televised. Times were different back then.

It really is funny how time flies. (By the way, you should read Jim's blog, which I referenced above).
