Favorite Read

How do you write about your favorite book? How do you even identify a "favorite" book. Most books have some good value. I remember being a little kid — and I mean little — and going to the mall, probably in Flint, with Grandma Morgan and Mom, and wishing that I could read all of those books. It seems like I would peek into Barnes & Noble and just wish that I could read, read, read. I couldn't wait to read. I imagine that I might have learned to read at a young age. I've always enjoyed reading. In third grade, I stopped at the store in Kingsley, Mich., every day to purchase a Detroit News. And, after school, I would read the Record–Eagle to see if the news was updated or different. And I couldn't wait until Fridays when The Sporting News would arrive. Ah, a good book and a hot summer afternoon.
