50 years old and much "story"

During a break in the action of the Michigan Association of State and Federal Program Specialists Summer Institute in Boyne City, Mich., during July, Lori and I journeyed up to Mackinaw City to take some pictures of the Mighty Mac.

I had taken pictures 15 years earlier and remembered that we took photos with a flag in the foreground. I couldn't figure out where the flag was, but when we drove back toward town, there it was on another viewing area. It was getting darker by then, so I used a tripod and shot some pics. None of the flag pics turned out awesome, though.

My favorite of all of the photos, though, is this couple sitting on a bench while a freshly made alligator walks up to them on the right. In the background there's a sailboat coming up to the bridge. While it appears to be a quaint picture of a bridge and a couple, there's much more to the story. Isn't that the way life is ... there's always more to the story.

What's your story? What's your real story?
