Cornering the market on beverages

STOP THE PRESSES, $1 SODA POP (ANY SIZE!)

First, McDonald's helped to shutter 600 Starbucks stores, now they're trying to put everyone else out of the beverage business. In reality, $1.00 for a soda or iced tea is not a great deal, but in today's world, it sounds like the best bargain around. I wonder how many people are buying a Coke even though they don't really want one ... but $1.00 just sounds like "free" anymore!
