OK, Friends, Here You Go

All right, I know you're waiting for a baseball post. You want to hear me talk about the Mets' problems or the surprising White Sox or how the Rays are rocking and rolling. Maybe you want to hear me say, "Yeah, they won three in a row, they're back."

Sorry, folks, I cannot get excited. I might and I want to. But it's a long season, and three games does not make a series. They did play better and actually won a 2–1 game today, but the Tigers ... they're just not there yet. Maybe, because so many factors combined here: 1) Cabrera hit a walk–off, 2) Kenny pitched a great eight innings (following the complete game by Justin), 3) the team swept the Sox, and 4) it's a Central Division showdown.

I'll be the first to tell you that the idea that Joel Zumaya may be coming back soon ... that's reason to think, "Maybe, just maybe ... "

But, again, it's too early to get excited. But, but, but ...

Hey, Yankee Fan, I bet you thought I forgot about the Tigers ...
