Kid Rock's Band's Rock 'n' Roll Revivalists
Wow! Three shows in eight days. First, Grand Rapids, second Saginaw, and third Detroit Rock City. Three different vantage points in three different cities. Grand Rapids was from the seventh row and was cool. Saginaw was from the front row because it was general admission and we arrived an hour before the show was set to begin. Finally, Detroit saw about eleven of us in the 26th row.
Perspectively speaking, the folks in front of us had this to say to the person who purchased the tickets: "Dude, you did well. You did well."
My friends, upon sitting down, "Rick, is this the best you could do? I feel so far away." They were somewhat jesting I believe; however, the vantage point was completely different. Things happened at the show that I didn't know were going on in previous shows, i.e. the giant disco ball lighting up the arena.
Kudos to Kid Rock and his his crew and band. The show is solid. And, let's not forget, "I'm a Michigan boy, can you feel that?"
A true rock 'n' roll revival. Excuse the photo quality; the pics are from a Razr cell phone.
