Mr. Leyland and I were able to chat for a moment at the 2007 version of Photo Day.
When I was a kid, the Tigers held events like bat day, helmet day, and the like. Now, the focus is on bobbleheads, magnets, DVDs, etc. One thing I used to look forward to going to Tiger Stadium for was the team hats and helmets. I haven't really bought one in 25 years, but at the time I purchased my last one, I had almost all 26 teams.

Sunday, August 10, 2008, will be Photo Day. It's a great event, but with the popularity of the team, it's almost not worth going to.
Has anyone figured out the date of the game when the 3 millionth fan will walk through the gates?

oh ricky far more than 26 teams now a days....as of last check i had all but one of the current teams hats' i believe i still need the florida marlins....you think dontrell has an extra one he can give me.....that would be great fit for a great collection.....
