Superstar in the Making
When I snapped this photograph last March, I had no idea that Curtis Granderson was on the cusp of greatness. He seemed like a good baseball player. Heck, a year earlier he had barely beat out Nook Logan for the centerfield position in Comerica Park.
At that point, I had written about how classy he was by wearing a suit to the Tiger caravan festivities. I also later wrote about how cool he was and about the amount of time he spent visiting with Tigers fans.
I had no clue he was on the way to doing something that only a couple other major leaguers had ever done.
So, as we embark on the GREAT in 2008 Campaign, I pose on question to you: WHAT DON'T WE KNOW TODAY, THAT WE'LL KNOW BY THE END OF THE SEASON? Yeah, who's going to surprise us? Who's going to disappoint us? Will Justin Verlander win 25 games? Will Magglio Ordonez hit .350 again? What's going to happen?
