I like the word "ironic" but it's overused

Having said that, is there anything more ironic that two 2006 Detroit Tigers winning the Comeback Player of the Year Awards in their respective leagues? Carlos Pena, the last cut of the 2006 spring season who was later dumped by Boston and New York (the American League club)and who also was quickly forgotten about with Chris "Superman" Shelton's killer April '06, and DY (Dmitri Young) both received the awards.

What is one of the Tigers biggest needs? Yep, a left handed power hitter.
