Cameron's Signature
Cameron's first job in the pros was as an outfielder in West Michigan. Last summer he played in Grand Rapids and we were able to talk to him several times. In Fort Wayne, he signed a ball. Notice, he put "30" under his signature. It's an official Midwest League ball.
Maybin is wearing #4 for the Tigers.
Does anyone remember who used to wear #4?

while i agree with you that maybin will someday be a star, last night was not a very good first impression. He struck out 2, maybe 3 times, looked downright silly in left field, and even looked, shall I say, "Star Struck" Yankee Stadium can do that to a guy, especially a very young, 20 yr. old. While Maybin looked like a "man amongst boys" as one big league hitting coach told me last summer in the midwest league, last night, he looked a bit out of place. I hope some tiger veterans take him under their wings and show this young colt the ropes. Here is to a prosperous future mr maybin, but right now might be a bit premature.
dj here.....how bout them yankees....appreciate detroit coming in here, battling hard, but in the end, handing us those three games...that was nice..tightend things up a bit, just the way the yankees like it..see you next weekend in detroit, tell that fella brad i got 4 tix for him right behind the dugout....i hear he is good friends with one of our roving hitting instructors, it'll be good to see him again.
