Who's This C–Mo Character, Anyway?

It was 1983 when Kirk H. Gibson hit a home run 540 on to the roof of the Brooks Lumber Company building in downtown Detroit. I've considered taking the picture for many years and finally did last night.

Good to see the Tigers end up winning tonight's game. Last night was not a good night to be a Tigers fan. Today, was an okay day to be a Tigers fan. Some good happened, some not so good. I don't know what's happening with Pudge Rodriguez but his defense has been dismal the last few games. He and Justin Verlander were not on the same page tonight at all.

Brandon Inge foolishly tried to turn a double play during a situation when he should have thrown home for the out; however, he made up for things by hitting a walk–off home run in the bottom of the tenth inning for a victory.

Another cool thing about tonight was that Craig Monroe played very well and hit a home run. He looked like the Craig of old, but he has to produce if he's going to be on the team.

Let's take the series on Sunday afternoon!
