Skyline of Detroit (A good view and a good team)

I'm sure the Stadium is worthless inside. Any pic we are privy to shows a rusting, weed–filled mess. I'm sure stuff is rotten and worthless. I always thought a trough (everyone knows what I mean) would be a great collectors item; however, they're probably all rusted out now.

Come on Detroit, Comerica found its own identity last fall. We always said that the new digs weren't good enough. Come to find out, it was the product on the field that kept people away. Tiger Stadium (though it housed 15,000 more people) never enjoyed 11 consecutive sell–outs.

Sure, the view of the girders in Tiger Stadium was nifty and something to remember forever and the smell of the fresh–cut grass and plumping hot dogs is something that we'll always remember (along with the long walk through the crowded corridors and the trip through the tunnel out to the seats) but tear 'er down. The time has come.

Quit messing around and saying you're going to auction stuff off. Just get it over with. While I think a new arena for the Red Wings build with some leftover Tiger Stadium steel would be the way to go ...
