All right, all right. It's obvious that the baseball Gods were shining down upon the Tigers last week. The reason the Tigers did not clinch the Central Division is that the Athletics are a tough team to beat. The Yankees are a good hitting team; however, their pitching is suspect at best. The Tigers certainly can win this series because GOOD pitching beats GOOD hitting! Pitching and defense win you championships, right? If the Motor City Nine win tonight's game, things will be good. Justin Verlander has done nothing to show that he's not going to continue to be dominating (well, okay, he has ... but beyond that!)
