Getting Moosed!

Upper Peninsula moose ...

We were cruising along I-75 after a busy day in Sault Ste. Marie, when I saw something strange out of the corner of my eye. I said, "What the heck was that?"

Surprised, my dad said, "It was a moose!"

Since it was too late to stop on the side of the express way, I drove off the next exit and headed back on I-75 North. Drove off the exit in Sault Ste. Marie again and returned south. The moose was still waiting for me to take his picture.

It wasn't something I expected, but it was pretty cool. A moose, walking through a field in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

The rest of this blog is a tribute to our leadership team at Central Montcalm.

Michele is a Yooper, so she's probably seen a moose or two in her time. Sandy has a history of seeing bears all over Michigan. And Roger, you'll love this, a mile later we saw the elusive bear and when we were crossing the bridge ... a lion was racing us ... It was strange! (LOL)

Thanks for reading .... tune in tomorrow for additional information ....

Now NEXT time you head to the U.P., what you HAVE to do is to go to the dump and watch for bears and UFO's--that's kind of a tradition too....along with pasties, smoked fish...I'll assist you with your Yooper P.D.--just a service we provide!
