This quote, from Socrates, is actually borrowed from someone's e-mail signature. It's quite a deep thought, naturally coming form Socrates. When you really think about thinking, though, what does it mean? Does anyone else stop and consider the messages that people send through their signatures?
What does your signature say? Do you include a quote?
The only think I include in my signature is my name and the address for my blog. Does that say anything?
If it is someone's goal to get me to think ... HELP! I've been thinking way too much lately.
What do you think about that?

If you don't use a signature--just your name and your blog address--I think it just means that you have much more to say than just a simple quote. It means that the meaningful thoughts you send out vary by the day or hour...at least that's what this "anonymous person" thinks. I don't see anything wrong with that...Some wise person once told me to stop putting the same old quote at the bottom of my documents...and then I thought--if it always says the same thing, and if it is "long", it probably IS forgettable. Like this comment is getting way too long...Rather--instead of writing a novel, why not be novel?
Guess you have to think about WHAT you put in...is it 10% or 100%? And yeah, sometimes it works out. But you know, people aren't machines, and sometimes they don't get what they deserve. And I guess if that happens, it is how they respond to what happens to them--that's what matters.
SAP, SAP, SAP! You two are making me sick! How about this for a quote, "I'm only here for the beer!"(LOL) Actually, if I could break into this little two person ramble, I hope I never stop learning or enjoying life. "Oh ya, life goes on, long after the thrills of living is gone."
