Tom Perrotta
Is a Great American Author
If you haven't read any of Tom Perrotta's work, you're missing out. We discovered him when his novel, Election, was made into a movie several years ago. A couple years ago, I found a copy of Little Children at the Traverse City Goodwill. It's a good book, fun to read, and easy to read quickly. Last fall, Mrs. Fletcher came out and I devoured it. After realizing that he has written a few good books, I picked up a copy of his short story collection Nine Inches from Thriftbooks. That led down the road of purchasing all of his books and reading them all. He's a smart, edgy writer who has a pulse on people. If you get a chance, pick up a Tom Perrotta novel or short story collection. You'll be glad you did.
